Books that are not in-stock can be purchased through us. Please use our order form for ISBN’s that are not listed on our website.
You can also place an order using our Fresh Books selection lists by adding books to your cart.

You can view your current and previous orders placed on our new website, by visiting the “My Account” area, represented by the human icon in the top right corner. Choose “Orders” from the dashboard on the left.
You can also update your password, payment methods, shipping addresses and email contacts from your Dashboard.
For long-standing customers who need a copy of an order(s) from previous years, please contact us directly and we can email you the information you require.
Canlit for Kids accepts the return of books that are unmarked and have not been processed for shelving. Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the item that you will be making a return. Once notified, we will send a courier for the packaged items. A credit will be issued on your account in lieu of a refund. A $5 charge will be applied to each shipment.
If an item arrives to you damaged, notify us within 30 days and we will replace it at no cost to you.
Standing orders are allowed 5 returns per seasonal package at no charge. Items returned are credited to your account, not refunded.
Generally speaking, we only carry books that have been released through our publishing partners. We do not carry self-published titles.
We do occasionally make exceptions for certain books that are relevant to curriculum and Canadian students. If you think your book may fit into this category, please contact us with the details.
We use Canpar courier and Canada Post as our shipping carriers. In-Stock books will usually ship the next day. Orders within BC can expect 1-2 day shipping. The rest of the western provinces usually experience 3-4 day shipments. Remote areas are subject to longer shipping times and may vary.
Large orders with multiple items may ship in two or more separate shipments, the first containing in-stock titles, while the subsequent shipments will contain backorders, special orders and late shippers.
